SeedScience is among the winners of the 2021 Youth Exchange Grant

SeedScience, in a partnership with the University of Rome Tor Vergata, is among the winners of the 2021 Youth Exchange Grant from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation!

The past year was extremely challenging on so many levels. With schools closed, education was interrupted and consequently we had to take a break from in-person training activities. Facing this scenario, we had to reinvent ourselves and create new training formats.

The African continent is growing fast and it is facing a digitization process that will allow more and more teachers to be online. We are now launching a hybrid training mode that will allow teachers to meet locally while connecting globally and be open to a whole new world full of opportunities.
15 African teachers from Ghana, Uganda, and Tanzania will attend the SeedScience self-paced online course on the Omprakash EdGE platform and connect with participants from other countries. At the same time, they will periodically meet in person with other local teachers and trainers.

The course will start in June and it will also be open to a few Italian participants who will interact with their African peers to share experiences and learn from each other. If you are an Italian under the age of 30 with a scientific background and you are willing to build a fairer world and exchange experiences with teachers from Africa, this opportunity is for you!
