What an experience!
This Summer more than 20 under 30 educators from Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda and Italy joined online to learn more about low-cost practical teaching methods. They attended a self-paced course on the Omprakash EdGE platform.
It was the very first time for us in facilitating such a multicultural and globally spread classroom. There were, of course, challenges, but it was an absolutely great learning experience for many of us.
Here are some quotes from participants:
“I enjoyed interacting with very many people from different countries” – Andrew, Uganda
“Taking part in this experience was truly inspirational” – Giulia, Italy
“I enjoyed learning about the call to action and contextualization. When I practiced it in my school, I had a good impact on the students.” – Mshana, Tanzania
“I loved interacting with other teachers, especially when we had the opportunity to perform tasks together.” Martina, Italy
“I have enjoyed every bit of the program.” – Nicholas, Ghana

Thanks a lot to the University of Rome Tor Vergata and to the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for making this project possible.
